My first juggling convention

I cannot juggle (yet). Can I come anyway?

The Juggling Festival is meant to be a celebration for everyone. We also have workshops for juggling beginners and an introduction to juggling. If that's still too much, you can also just come watch a show event such as the juggling battles or the gala show.

I can only come for a day. When is it most worthwile?

If you want to watch, we recommend Saturday. We have Juggling Battles, the big Gala Show and the Firespace, all of which will amaze you.

If you want to take part and want a bit more action, then Sunday is the best day with the juggling games and the juggling battles.

Do I have to register?

You just have to register, if you would like to stay overnight or have breakfast. Otherwise you can just drop by spontaneously.

What does the Juggling Festival cost?

The Juggling Festival is free for everyone. If you want to support us, see here for more information.

What do I have to bring?

Basically, you need a good mood and a comfortable outfit. If you have your own juggling equipment, please bring it with you. We have sales stands on site and material can be provided for certain workshops, but basically everyone provides for themselves. If you visit your local juggling dealer (e.g. Jugglux) in advance, you are sure to be well equipped.

For those who are visiting for the first time, there is a small equipment hire centre where you can try out your first moves.

If you're just coming to watch, you don't need to bring anything with you.

Around the clock?

We have a supporting programme for the festival during the usual times, but yes, the halls are open around the clock. For those who want to know, you can go through both nights.

When are which gyms open?

  • Halle 710 (Juggling, Info, Shops): Friday 15:00 continuously until Sunday 17:00
  • Triple gym Neuhegi: Saturday 13:00 through to Sunday 17:00
  • Sleeping hall Hegifeld: Friday 19:00 to Sunday 10:00

When is the info point open?

  • Friday 15:00 to 21:00
  • Saturday 08:00 to 19:00 / Gala Show
  • Sunday 08:00 to around 15:00 / festival dismantling

How can I pay?

For the juggling festival, payments can always be made in cash or with TWINT. If this is not possible, please get in touch with us via contact form.

Our partner restaurants also support card payment.

Gyms

Do you have enough space for bad weather?

We are equipped for all weathers, we have over 1,000 m² of space in both halls, so you can juggle without any worries even in bad weather.

Are there changing rooms?

Those who sleep in the sleeping hall Hegifeld can use the changing rooms and showers there.

The Neuhegi triple gym (opens Saturday 13:00) has additional changing rooms and showers that can be used by all participants.

Beware of theft: Do not leave any valuables in the checkrooms, the organizer declines liability as far as possible. The sleeping hall will be unattended during the day.

What characterizes the halls?

One hall is used for the shows / juggling battels, but is also available for other purposes. Only take unicycles with indoor tires into the hall, remove street shoes. Park rules

Slacklines unfortunately only in the gym

Due to the young age of the trees in the park, we are unfortunately not allowed to attach slacklines to the trees to protect them. However, you are allowed to mount your slacklines in the Neuhegi gym and in Hall 710. Please contact us (contact form) if you plan to bring your slacklines so that we can make optimum use of the space.

Disposal

Please use the waste containers provided on the festival site. We want to leave the park and the halls cleaner than we found them.

Toilets

The toilet facilities in the halls may be used.
